Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be at least 21 years of age
   
• Have no felony convictions
   
• Have no convictions for crimes of violence
   
• Have no convictions for offenses punishable by one (1) year or more of imprisonment
   
• Have no convictions involving alcohol abuse, unlawful use of narcotics, or controlled substances
   
• Have no convictions involving moral turpitude or domestic violence
   
• Not have been adjudicated mentally incompetent by a state or federal court, unless the adjudication has been withdrawn or reversed
   
• Be legally eligible to purchase and possess a firearm under Utah and federal law
   
• Successfully pass a criminal background check
