Maryland Handgun Carry Permit (Wear & Carry) (CCW) TrAINING

Class Overview

Anyone who can legally own a handgun, submits an application to the Maryland State Police, successfully completes the required 16-hour Handgun Carry Permit Training Course, and passes a background check shall be issued a Maryland Handgun Carry Permit.


*HQL Certifications are included with this class if needed* 



 Classroom instruction will be held in downtown Baltimore.
Range instruction will take place at Guntry Range, 10705 Red Run Blvd, Owings Mills, MD 21117. 



Course Length / Cost

Initial Permit
16 hours total (2 days)

Cost: $250.00
A $75.00 non-refundable deposit is required to register online. The remaining balance is due on the day of the class.


Renewal
8 hours total (1 day)
Cost: $150.00
A $75.00 non-refundable deposit is required to register online. The remaining balance is due on the day of the class.
